About Leigh Miles

Leigh has been a successful fitness professional for many years although her career began in dance.

She trained at The Arts Educational School in a wide range of dance genres. Leigh danced the lead role of Clara in the Royal Festival Ballet’s Nutcracker and performed at the Royal Opera House in Verdi’s Falstaff.

She went on to become one of Britain’s top television dancers, gracing the screen on Stars In Their Eyes, The Russ Abbot Show, The Little and Large Show, The Kenny Everett Show, Noel Edmonds’ House Party, The Stanley Baxter Show, Children in Need, The Generation Game, The Paul Daniels Magic Show, The Fast Show and Top of the Pops, amongst countless other productions.

TV & Video

Leigh performed as principal girl in pantomimes alongside stars like Cilla Black and she was a presenter on the BBC’s Crackerjack. Her music career includes dancing in the iconic Robert Palmer videos and releasing a charting single with A&M Records.

Since 1995, Leigh has worked as a choreographer and movement director for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and satellite networks, with credits including Mrs Brown’s Boys, So You Think You Can Dance, The Royal Variety Performance, The Paul O’Grady Show, The Generation Game, The Paul Daniels Show and The Dame Edna Treatment.

Leigh also choreographed and presented the chart-topping fitness video One to One Options and holds qualifications in many areas of Exercise to Music along with Zumba® Fitness, Zumba® Toning, Zumba Gold, Fitness Pilates, Reformer and more.

Today, Leigh continues to choreograph for major broadcasters while running her own dance and fitness business.
